Bubbles Galore!

Hannah loves taking baths but a few times lately she had needed some convincing. One way to get her in quick is to let her take a bath with one of us in our big bath tub. She loves bubbles and knows that there are always lots of them in our tub. I love bubbles too so I always put some in but then we turn on the jets and we have crazy bubbles!!! I promise she is only about belly button deep in water... The rest is bubbles!
Sorry in advance for the picture overload.

She loved her "bubby hat"!For those of you that know him, doesn't she look a little like her cousin Bridge in this picture? Maybe its the face she is making.

Who's ready for football season?

Hannah was trying on her 2008 game day outfit the other day and of course I couldn't help taking a few pictures. I think she is very excited! She loves talking about Aubie and Buzz and now she is in the process of learning cheers and fight songs. She loves it!!!

Big Girl Bed!!!

The transition to the Big Girl Bed has officially begun. We knew it was going to be a challenge because she has gotten pretty attached to her crib, but we didn't want to buy another crib and baby brother will need a crib here shortly so this is something we couldn't put off any longer. We have been reading books and snuggling in the big girl bed for a while now but she always wants to get in her crib to sleep. I knew we would have to get the crib out of her room before we could even start getting her to sleep in the big bed at night. So yesterday Jason took the crib apart and set it up in brother's room. Night #1 was better than I anticipated. She was pretty hysterical for a while but she finally fell asleep (on the floor with Jason) and we were able to move her into the bed without waking her. She slept until her usual time this morning and (after a slight struggle) took a 3 hour nap in her big bed this afternoon. I'd say so far we are on the right track. There is definitely some resistance but I think she will be fine by the time baby brother gets here.

Here are some videos and pictures of our bed time routine last night. It actually was our usual routine but we took pictures and videos because it was her first night sleeping in the big bed. The videos are kind of pointless but I thought you might like to see Hannah in action since I have yet to post any other videos! =) She was hamming it up for the camera while the video was being shot.

Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day weekend at the river. I wasn't feeling great all weekend but it was still a fun time with friends and family. Hannah LOVED the water and driving the boat! Unfortunately we didn't take too many pictures but here are a few.
Little Miss Priss getting ready for the day. The yellow boat is now her most prized possession.

Picking Strawberries

Its a good thing Hannah has decided she loves strawberries because the 2 strawberry plants we planted last year have turned into 20-something healthy plants this year. We were enjoying the berries very much until the birds found they enjoyed them as well. We have a net over them now so hopefully that will keep those pesky birds out!

On this day, Hannah was "helping" Jason water the garden. When it was time to water the strawberries Hannah decided we should also eat the strawberries. Hey, why not? This was also the first day that we allowed Hannah to be watered with the garden. Watering hasn't been the same since!

Rinsing it off

Just having fun...shh! Don't tell the water authority!

Where did May go???

It has been quite some time since our last post. The past several weeks have been eventful to say the least. 3 weeks ago Hannah was sick with a viral throat infection and a double ear infection to top it off. The past 2 weeks I have been working at the hospital to help a very short staffed team and dealing with the mother of all sinus infections at the same time. It has been interesting to say the least.

Everyone in our household is on the mend now and we are looking forward to life returning to normal...that is at least for the next 5 weeks until Baby Brother joins the family!!!

Here are a couple pictures to update you from the month of May! Also expect a few new posts tonight as I have a lot to catch up on! =)
